light edge wear to boards and jacket; Mickey's former college roommate Denise is supposed to be in San Francisco appearing in a new production of "Macbeth" with legendary actress Amanda Cole. When Mickey, St. John, and Chief Moses arrive at the theater, they discover that Amanda has been murdered and Denise is the prime suspect. St. John soon learns that everyone is playing a role as he uncovers horrifying secrets from the past.
